Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions AB is looking for a hands-on Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Stockholm or Landskrona and help strengthen and evolve the quality of our IoT‑based access control solutions.

In this role, you will work at the system level, validating end‑to‑end solutions built on Linux‑based hardware platforms, connected devices, and networked ecosystems. You will play a key part in building and improving our test automation capabilities, while still actively engaging in manual and exploratory system testing.

What you will do as our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and robustness of our systems across software, hardware, and networking layers. You will work hands‑on with both manual exploratory testing and test automation, contributing to quality throughout the entire development lifecycle while collaborating closely with developers and the Product Owner.

For example, you would:

Design, execute, and maintain system‑level, end‑to‑end, and release test scenarios, balancing exploratory manual testing with a growing level of automation to ensure high confidence in product quality.

Develop and evolve automated test suites in Python (e.g. pytest), maintaining and improving the test automation framework and integrating automated tests into CI pipelines as coverage and maturity increase.
