Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for new Production Engineering Specialists to join our team in Smart Power, Vaasa. In the s e role s , you will have the opportunity to optimize the p roduction organization's assembly methods, processes, and equipment accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Y our main role will be to maintain and increase production line availability and performance. You will be also part of developing our current automation solutions and participate in projects implementing new automation and digital solutions. Additionally, you will showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of production process to achieve the targeted production.

You work in close co-operation with production, maintenance and quality functions. The work model for the role is: onsite, the position involves two-shift work.

Additionally, you will be accountable for:

P rogramming, maintaining and developing robots on multiple automated production lines

Production process improvements and small modifications

Providing support to p roduction during internal , external process es or equipment start-up s , defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources

Implementing new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

Qualifications for the Role

B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree in Electrical, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field
