Cloud Engineer – Car Cloud Platform Development

About this role

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud services and ingress gateway solutions within a globally scaled platform
• Take ownership of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and release management
• Collaborate with your Product Owner to define functionality, estimate complexity, and plan sprints
• Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions within established guidelines
• Act as a task force resource for business-critical application and infrastructure development
• Share knowledge within the team and actively contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java (Spring) and/or Golang
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra)
• Understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience working in agile product teams (Scrum/DevOps)
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• BSc degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent

• Experience with Istio service mesh
• Knowledge of middleware technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or MQTT
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Prior experience with connected vehicle platforms or car-related cloud data flows
