Your Role and Responsibilities
We are now looking for a new Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at ABB Oy, Smart Power in Vaasa. As a Supplier Quality Manager you will play a key part in ensuring supplier quality performance, supporting business growth and driving continuous improvement together with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Your main focus will be on leading and developing a team of professionals responsible for supplier-related activities; quality, testing, and tooling to ensure that supplied products meet quality requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for planning and conducting supplier audits. In this position, you play a key role in the quality processes of the world's leading automated low-voltage switch factory.

Additionally, you will be accountable for:
Monitoring and reporting supplier quality KPIs and targets
Leading root cause analysis (RCA) for supplier quality issues
Developing and verifying corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA)
Driving continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA)
Identifying process improvement opportunities from supplier quality data
Working cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and operations
Supporting supplier approval and onboarding processes
Qualifications for the Role
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality-related positions from an industrial environment
Ability to lead a team and support team members in achieving targets
