IPR University Center is an independent institute shared by nine universities, supported by the IPR University Center Association. The IPR University Center conducts research and participates in various collaborative research and analysis projects. It organizes continuing education, international conferences, IPR teaching for higher education institutions, as well as various events related to intellectual property rights. In addition, the Center offers customized training for organizations and universities, publishes the online magazine IPRinfo, provides statements, and is active in both the Finnish and international IPR field.
IPR University Center is looking for an Education Coordinator (fixed-term)
We offer a unique vantage point into the Finnish and international IPR field, both in academia and in the business world. We are looking for someone who can develop training programs and understands the requirements of university-level teaching. The responsibilities of the Education Coordinator include coordinating and planning courses and webinars, as well as developing cooperation with educational institutions. The role also includes tasks related to university administration, finance, and communications. Previous experience with the Moodle learning environment and familiarity with the IPR field are considered an advantage, but such knowledge can also be acquired on the job.
At the IPR University Center, work is carried out independently, but we provide the support of a skilled and experienced team. The person we are seeking is creative, productive, and proactive.
The duties include, among other things:Designing content for online courses and project management
Planning webinars, training sessions, and events
Stakeholder and social media communication
Administrative tasks, including acting as secretary to the management team
Collaboration projects with universities and companies
Administration of the Moodle learning platform
