Sustainability work has a long history at the Meyer Turku shipyard, and the company is strongly committed to it. A significant milestone was reached in 2025: finalization of a net-zero ship concept.

Meyer Turku has taken effective measures to reduce both energy consumption and emission intensity at the yard, with a target to reach net-zero emission position by end 2030.The company has recently revised the priorities of its sustainability efforts and is adopting a more holistic and concrete approach to ESG.

Job description:

As the Head of ESG, you are responsible for driving the implementation of Meyer Turku's recently renewed ESG strategy as well as for the required reporting, together with your direct line team and large network of co-operation partners.

You support the business by being a subject matter expert in ESG. Your team is part of the company's Strategy and Transformation team, and you report to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer.

What we expect from you:

Master's degree in relevant studies

At least five years of experience in ESG work in managerial or leadership role, preferably in an industrial environment either as an employee or as a consultant in industrial ESG projects
