Role Overview

This role plays a vital part in supporting the energy pricing and renewals process, acting as the link between internal consultants, clients, and energy suppliers. You will be responsible for producing accurate, professional pricing analysis and proposals, managing documentation, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end

client experience from renewal through to contract completion.

Responsibilities

  • Pricing and Contract Administration
  • Obtain energy prices from suppliers (including commission rates) and prepare price analysis using agreed tools and matrices
  • Produce professional energy analysis and proposals for consultants to present to clients, including terms and conditions and supporting graphs
  • Prioritize delegated pricing tasks and report any updates from consultants or clients to the Pricing Manager
  • Coordinate the contract completion process by:
  • Sending signed contracts and acceptance documents to suppliers
  • Ensuring agreed rates are locked in and confirmed to clients and consultants
  • Support the Pricing Manager with ad‑hoc requests as required
  • Market & Supplier Liaison:
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of energy market trends and movements and the factors influencing them
  • Liaise with suppliers to gather relevant market and pricing information, updating any internal documents
  • Client & Consultant Support:
  • Manage communication between suppliers, consultants, and clients in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing work against deadlines and business targets
  • Support the resolution of client queries and issues by working collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Take ownership of credit issues from initiation through to resolution
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records of all client communications and actions within the CRM system
  • Follow company document management procedures, including scanning, saving, and indexing paperwork daily
  • Adhere to company policies, departmental standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Professional Development & Culture:
  • Participate in ongoing training, development activities, regular performance reviews, and monthly one‑to‑one meetings
  • Apply company values in all day‑to‑day activities
  • Promote a culture of fairness, openness, and honesty in all client interactions
