CNC machinist

We are recruiting a CNC Turner / Milling Machinist for our client company Osateos Oy for a permanent position in Vantaa, conveniently located with excellent transport connections.

We are seeking a skilled CNC machinist to strengthen the production team in versatile turning and milling tasks. You will work with a modern machine fleet and have the opportunity to utilize your strong machining expertise and programming skills. The role can be tailored according to your competence, with a focus either on multitasking turning or machining center operations.

Job Description

The position includes CNC turning and/or milling, machine setup, programming, and part production.

On the turning side, you will work with a modern DMG Mori NLX 2500 multitasking lathe (M730UM control) and independently handle programming and machining operations.

On the milling side, the work involves 4-axis machining on Heidenhain-controlled machining centers (TNC 530 / 620 / 640).

Your responsibilities also include tool selection and optimization, measurements, and quality assurance. The manufactured components range from single pieces and small batches to prototypes.

What We Expect from You

We expect you to have experience in CNC turning and/or milling and strong machining expertise. You are familiar with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Mori controls and capable of independent programming and machine setup.

We value the ability to work independently, strong problem-solving skills, and a careful, quality-oriented approach to work.

Experience in small-batch and single-piece production, production development, and CAD/CAM skills (e.g., Fusion 360) are considered an advantage. Willingness to work in shifts is also regarded as a benefit.

Working Hours and Employment

The work is primarily carried out in two shifts.

The employment is permanent and begins according to agreement.
