R&D Engineer – microLED Technology
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute process flows for creating LED prototypes, including essential materials characterization techniques.
- Analyze and interpret characterization results and provide recommendations to improve device performance and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate closely with the team to optimize material, processing parameters, and device architecture.
- Execute and monitor customer pilot projects, ensuring alignment with technical objectives and customer expectations.
- Stay current with advancements in microLED materials and technologies.
- Continuously learn and grow by exploring new ideas and approaches to enhance our technology and characterization capabilities.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in physics, materials science, nanotechnology, or a related discipline; alternatively, an MSc in a relevant field with several years of experience in LED fabrication.
- Experience with LED manufacturing processes, including light‑extraction optimization and flip‑chip integration.
- Experience with semiconductor device physics and cleanroom fabrication processes.
- Strong understanding of GaN/InGaN LED device physics.
