Position Overview:

Responsibilities

  • Implement, optimize, and deploy EO tracking algorithms on embedded computing platforms.
  • Port tracking and image-processing software from standalone computer environments to embedded systems such as SoCs, FPGAs, GPUs, or ARM-based platforms.
  • Design and maintain low-latency real-time video processing pipelines for detection, tracking, and control.
  • Interface embedded vision software with cameras, sensors, motor controllers, and other hardware subsystems.
  • Optimize software for speed, memory efficiency, determinism, and power consumption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and system designers.
  • Support hardware bring-up, integration, testing, and debugging in both laboratory and field environments.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions for next-generation embedded tracking and targeting systems.
