We are looking for an ambitious and talented Financial Accountant to join our UK Finance Team. This is a great role for someone who is looking to develop their accounting skills and learn from a highly skilled and motivated team in a fast-paced SaaS Technology environment.
This role is important in our Finance team, and you will play a key part in ensuring the financial records of the Group are accurate, complete, and reliable.
What you will be doing:
As a Financial Accountant, you will get involved in:
Perform month-end accounting activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis
Support the implementation of new finance systems, including the development and embedding of new controls and processes
Assist with the annual statutory financial audit, including preparation of supporting documentation and responding to audit queries
Oversee cash reporting for the business, including preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts and liaising with banking partners
Gain exposure to FX hedging, including forecasting currency requirements, contributing to hedging strategies, and supporting the implementation of the company’s hedging policy
Support tax reporting across the group, including VAT, UK corporation tax, and US taxes
Prepare technical accounting papers and support the implementation and maintenance of financial accounting policies
Collaborate with wider Finance teams and key stakeholders, including senior management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and drive continuous process improvement initiatives
