Would you like to help modernize a large enterprise software system and influence its future?

We are looking for a senior-level software developer to join us in maintaining, developing and renewing the Misonet software. Misonet is Mipros SCADA system for the water and energy business line. It has been built over the years and deployed to dozens of industrial customers, and it will remain the flagship product of the company in the future. Thats why its development combines understanding legacy systems with utilizing modern technologies.

Misonet is now being systematically developed towards more modern architecture and technology. The work includes improving usability and the user interface as well as carrying out larger refactoring that gradually modernize the software.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence technical solutions, make decisions, and develop the system in a long-term, sustainable way. There is also the possibility of growing into a Product Owner role for Misonet in the future.

The position requires a valid right to work in Finland.

What the job includes

Development of Misonet is diverse and varied. The work may include, for example:

improving the user interface and usability

implementing new features to meet project needs

analyzing and refactoring legacy code

gradually modernizing the software

documenting work in Confluence

The release cycle is approximately every six months, allowing time to focus on high-quality development work and larger improvements.
