About the role

As Head of IT & Digitalization in the Energy Division COO's team, you will play a central role in Unlocking AFRY and helping bring our new strategy to life. The role could be located flexibly in Denmark, Sweden or Finland.

In this position, you will guide the division's digital evolution securing that we leverage from AI, data, and modern digital capabilities while building harmonized, future-proof ways of working.

Your responsibilities

You will

Lead the division's digital transformation journey, ensuring alignment with AFRY's Next Chapter, Group IT strategy, and our business needs.

Strengthen operational efficiency in close collaboration with Group IT by harmonizing applications, platforms, infrastructure, and ways of working.

Standardize processes, reduce complexity, and identify automation and digitalization opportunities to unlock meaningful business value.

It's essential to identify business needs, therefore you will

Engage with the business to understand challenges, opportunities, and needs - translating them into impactful digital initiatives.

Assess and review business processes to ensure we prioritize the initiatives that create the most value.

Align divisional ambitions with enterprise-wide platforms to ensure consistency and scalability across AFRY.

To succeed in this role, adoption & change management as well is a main part of your work

Lead change management efforts for group-wide digital initiatives, ensuring clear communication, strong adoption, and stakeholder alignment.

Support a culture of digital confidence by promoting structured training, transparent communication, and engaging learning experiences.

Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing around digital capabilities, scaling best practices across the division to maximize value.
