Summer Trainee, Purchasing

KONE Purchasing is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect materials and services sourcing.

We are now looking for a

Summer Trainee,Purchasing

to support our procurement team in daily sourcing and purchasing activities and to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment. This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland.

Main responsibilities:

Support purchasing and sourcing activities across different categories

Assist with supplier communication, data analysis, and reporting

Help maintain purchasing data and documentation

Participate in process improvement and development initiatives

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions

What we are looking for?:

A student in the latter part of their studies in business, economics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field

Interest in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement

Good analytical skills and attention to detail

Proactive, curious, and eager-to-learn mindset

Clear communication skills.

Fluent English and Finnish, other languages are an asset.
