We are seeking an experienced Finnish Early Childhood Educator and Leader to join our team as a Pre-Primary Vice Principal & Teacher to join work at Finland International School (FIS) Race Course, Mumbai, India
FIS Race Course in Mumbai is the first Finnish IB school in India, combining Finnish pedagogy with IB programmes and a strong focus on student well-being, personalised learning, and holistic development.
Responsibilities
- This is a dual-role position (50% teaching, 50% leadership), offering the opportunity to:
- Teach and co-teach in the Early Years using a play-based, child-centred approach
- Lead and mentor the Pre-Primary team, supporting professional growth and daily pedagogical practices
- Contribute to curriculum development and the implementation of our own FIS India curriculum and IB-aligned practices
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with parents, colleagues, and the pedagogical leadership team
- We Are Looking For
- A qualified Finnish Early Childhood Education teacher
- Experience in pedagogical leadership and mentoring
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English
- An open-minded, adaptable approach to working in an international environment
