Test & Verification Engineer – Vehicle Connectivity & Embedded Systems

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Test & Verification Engineer, focusing on vehicle connectivity and embedded systems. In this role, you will work hands-on with both software and hardware verification, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

You will collaborate closely with developers, suppliers, and workshop stakeholders, contributing to everything from fault tracing and diagnostics to test automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute test and verification activities on system and vehicle level
  • Perform end-to-end testing of onboard and offboard connectivity solutions
  • Develop, write, execute, and report test cases based on requirements
  • Work with manual testing in rigs and vehicles, as well as automated testing
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing in rigs, HIL setups, and vehicles
  • Conduct black-box, white-box, acceptance, and regression testing
  • Automate test cases using tools like vTestStudio for HIL, bench, and vehicle testing
  • Monitor and analyze nightly HIL test runs, ensuring quick issue follow-up
  • Perform root cause analysis, log analysis, and signal/actuator measurements
  • Create clear and structured fault reports for development teams and suppliers
  • Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and external workshops for testing coordination
  • Contribute to verification strategy, processes, and continuous improvements

  • You will work with a modern toolchain including:
  • Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vTestStudio, INCA)
  • HIL rigs and test benches
  • System Weaver / SystemWeaver
  • Elektra, DSA, INCA
  • Embedded systems, diagnostics tools, and measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes)

Requirements

  • Experience in manual and automated verification of embedded systems (preferably automotive)
  • Strong experience with vehicle/system rigs an
