Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Statistician to join Orion Pharma's Global Operations. In this role, you will design and carry out statistical analyses and standard reporting to support data-driven decision-making, operational development, and continuous improvement in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations. The position supports ongoing development initiatives in Global Operations and offers an opportunity to work hands-on with industrial data and analytics in cooperation with experienced experts and key stakeholders.
  • You will report to the Senior Manager, Operations Development within Intelligent Processes team in Global Operations. The job location is Espoo or Turku, and the role is hybrid. The position is full-time and temporary until January 2028.
  • As a Statistician, your main responsibilities include:
  • Planning and performing statistical analyses and standard reporting to support Global Operations activities (industrial statistics)
  • Producing standard reports and dashboards for operational decision-making
  • Collecting, cleaning, validating, and preparing data from agreed data sources and ensuring data quality
  • Supporting development projects with descriptive and diagnostic analyses
  • Working according to defined statistical, reporting, and analytics standards
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders in Production, Operations Development, and other Global Operations functions
  • Continuously developing your statistical competence and understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs)
