Security is a core part of how we scale quantum computing responsibly. In this role, you help protect the digital assets and intellectual property behind our systems, software, and day to day work across locations. You will play an essential part in a growing security team at IQM, with clear ownership in your area and support from colleagues and partners. We prioritise work based on risk and impact, and you will work closely with IT, engineering, and external vendors to build security that is practical, reliable, and sustainable.
What will I be doing?Improve security standards, procedures, and controls, and help teams apply them in real work
Strengthen data and network security in environments and contribute to improvements of products
Identify threats in IT and OT environments and in software, and drive mitigation plans end to end
Conduct regular vulnerability and technical security assessments across infrastructure, services, and software
Assist in triage security incidents and support incident response to reduce impact and restore normal operations quickly
Support threat detection and threat hunting activities, including SOC monitoring and EDR operations
Help with tuning of security tooling and workflows, including identity and access management practices
Partner with cross functional teams and vendors to design and implement secure systems, applications, and infrastructure
What skills do I need? Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, Sys
