Role Description

This is a full-time Software Engineer role based in Espoo, Finland. We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in software development, particularly in Python and C++/Qt. The role involves developing Windows desktop applications and integrating solutions with hardware and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions mainly for Windows Desktop GUIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Integrate software solutions with hardware components and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices in software development.
  • Required Competencies and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Comprehensive software development skills especially in Python and C++/Qt.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows desktop applications.
  • Experience with hardware integration and cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools, such as Git and Bitbucket.
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Espoo office.
