Role Description
This is a full-time Software Engineer role based in Espoo, Finland. We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in software development, particularly in Python and C++/Qt. The role involves developing Windows desktop applications and integrating solutions with hardware and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions mainly for Windows Desktop GUIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Integrate software solutions with hardware components and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices in software development.
- Required Competencies and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Comprehensive software development skills especially in Python and C++/Qt.
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop applications.
- Experience with hardware integration and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools, such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Ability to work on-site at our Espoo office.
