DESCRIPTION Join the Orion Platform team, the engineering group responsible for building and scaling Sinch's new Tier-1, business-critical data platform. The Orion platform is at the heart of our company's data strategy, processing billions of real-time messaging events daily. We are replacing legacy systems to become the single source of truth that not only powers our client-facing dashboards and analytics, but also unlocks the potential for sophisticated automation and future AI implementation. Core Pipeline Development: Design and implement the mediation system Orion, using Go (Golang) to process billions of raw usage data events from Kafka into standardized formats for billing and analytics. Real-Time Event Processing: Build and maintain our high-performance, near real-time data pipelines, ensuring minimal latency between data ingestion and its availability in our ClickHouse database. Data Transformation & Enrichment: Implement complex data transformation rules to normalize, enrich, and aggregate data from multiple sources, preparing it for accurate billing and reporting. Automation and Efficiency: Automate mediation processes and workflows within our Kubernetes environment, minimizing manual intervention and improving the efficiency of data flows.
