Our Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) operates 24/7/365 monitoring events, responding to incidents, and assisting employees with various security concerns.

How will you create an impact

You will play a key role in providing direct support to the Sr Regional Security Manager (RSM), UK/EMEA, delivering best-in-class physical security support services throughout the complex framework of AIG Companies and Corporate Functions.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Lead end-to-end delivery of physical security technology projects across multiple regions

Manage installations, testing and acceptance of installed physical security components (e.g., access control systems, security video and storage devices, intrusion / intruder alarms, panic / duress systems, video intercoms, and visitor management systems, etc.)

Ensure that security designs, equipment, and installation comply with Global Security Standards

Evaluate security vendor project proposals; most importantly, ensure cost estimates are appropriate

Develop, document, and commit to a project timeline and ensure all security actions / equipment are delivered as agreed.

Ensure that project data is accurate, complete, current, and stored in the department’s central repository.

Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with key project vendors.

Partner with global security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders

Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest security standards

Assist with other departmental high priority projects / activities as needed, especially during major events.

As needed, assist with conducting Physical Security Assessments (PSAs) at offices throughout UK/EMEA

What you’ll need to succeed

Strong project management skills with the proven ability to define a project’s scope and objectives, and provide oversight to ensure its completion

Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest security standards

Subject-matter expertise and troubleshooting capabilities for enterprise security technology systems, including physical access control, security video, and intrusion systems.

Experience using Genetec

Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work to strict deadlines

Ability to coordinate across global teams and third-party vendors

Confident communicator who can translate technical solutions into real-world outcomes, sometimes directly to senior leaders

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
