About this role
I am Massimiliano Pianigiani, Head of the Data Mediation and Cybersecurity team, which is part of Telia Group IT Organization. This team is the IT solution owner for Telia common cybersecurity and data mediation tools, including SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response, Vulnerability Management and Application protection and as well performance management and observability platforms for all domains. All these teams operate with Agile way of working (SAFe) within Telia common operation model.
Responsibilities
- Key success indicators for this role are the operation and the development of cybersecurity tools in respect of agreed service levels, and the delivery of a Cybersecurity systems transformation roadmap aiming to increase Telia security with efficient and effective solutions, in alignment with the approved strategic architecture. Further major KPIs are related to the compliance for the systems in scope, the enablement of business value to fulfill stakeholders' expectations, the engagement of the people in the team, on top of other specific KPIs. As for all teams in IT, decisions for the role are guided by Telia policies, procedures and business plans.
- Responsible for development and operations of several systems in the area of SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, and other tools for application and network protection.
- Lead the team of employees and consultants in this unit.
- Secure an effective and efficient evolution of the area, to increase Telia security
- Interact effectively with stakeholders at GSOC, Security, IT and Networks.
- Secure planning of agile deliveries across the team, respect of financial follow-up of OPEX and CAPEX, contribute to the development, growth and improvement of the Agile delivery vehicle (ART).
