About this role

We are seeking multiple  Senior Business Analyst with strong GDS (Government Digital Service) experience to join our expanding Transformation Design Group practice within Version 1. You will play a key role in delivering user‑centred, high‑quality digital services across complex public sector programmes, working closely with multidisciplinary user centred design teams in Agile environments. This role is ideal for a consultant who thrives in client‑facing settings, can confidently lead discovery and delivery activities, and has a proven track record of working to the GDS Digital Service Standard . Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings and presentations with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior client representatives Elicit, analyse and document business and user requirements using appropriate techniques and tools Map and improve complex business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and value creation Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary Agile teams, including Product Managers, Designers, Developers and User Researchers Support delivery across Discovery, Alpha and Beta , contributing to GDS assessments and service assurance activities Analyse solution options, make evidence‑based recommendations and support decision‑making Mentor and support junior Business Analysts, contributing to capability growth and best practice Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape delivery approaches and outcomes

Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst on digital transformation programmes Strong GDS experience , including delivery aligned to the Digital Service Standard Hands‑on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience documenting and improving end‑to‑end business processes Experience in reviewing Functional Specification Documents produced by peers (Peer Review) to ensure they align with Business Requirements Specification documents. Has worked on both large-scale and smaller projects and has been responsible for defining and designing business solutions. Consultancy or client‑facing delivery experience
