It is a central part of the pan-European AI network of excellence - ELLIS, European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems. Rooted in European competence and values, the Institute serves as Finland's leading-edge AI research center, driving transformative research, advancing RDI collaborations, and facilitating engagement between academia, industry, and public stakeholders. Coordinated by Aalto University, the ELLIS Institute Finland (est. 2025) operates in partnership with all Finnish universities. Building on the success of the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence FCAI - the Research Council of Finland's Flagship (2019-2026) - and its pioneering work in machine learning, the Institute is uniquely positioned to further elevate Finland's role in global AI research and innovation.

Ecosystem Manager, ELLIS Institute Finland

Join ELLIS Institute Finland to turn leading AI research into impact. You will grow and manage an external ecosystem around the Institute, consisting of industry, public actors, investors, accelerators, and founders both in Finland and internationally. The role focuses on developing external relationships, facilitating collaboration between the external stakeholders and ELLIS researchers and innovators, and setting up scalable ways of working.

Your daily work environment will be at the ELLIS Institute. The leadership of the Institute will provide strategic and practical guidance. You will also be part of Aalto University's Corporate Relations unit, where you will receive professional support from your colleagues and line manager to succeed in your role.
