Senior Technical Architect, IT Asset Management

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect to own and evolve our ITAM platforms and integrations, ensuring data quality, automation, and a reliable foundation for decision‑making.

About the role

In this role, you will serve as the technical owner of Fortum's ITAM architecture - designing how asset data flows across platforms, ensuring data quality, and enabling lifecycle, compliance, and financial processes. Your work will directly support how we manage IT hardware, software, procurement feeds, cost transparency, and chargeback capabilities.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across IT, Finance, Procurement, Workplace, and Cybersecurity, ensuring asset data is structured, automated, and governed according to Fortum's standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence our long‑term ITAM, lifecycle, and cost‑management strategy.

Key responsibilities might include but are not limited to the following:

Own and develop the end‑to‑end technical architecture for ITAM solutions and related integrations.

Design inbound data flows from multiple sources and ensure unified, reconciled, high‑quality asset data.

Build outbound data architecture to support cost transparency, chargeback, compliance, and financial reporting.

Lead modernization of lifecycle automation, software catalogue metadata, and compliance‑supporting processes.

Define logical data models, reconciliation rules, and lifecycle structures.

Serve as the subject‑matter expert for complex ITAM investigations (data anomalies, lifecycle gaps, SAM risks, etc.).

Ensure all integrations and platforms follow Fortum's cybersecurity, privacy, and data governance standards.

Provide technical guidance to platform squads on integration patterns, data modelling, and automation.
