Job Description Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to provide senior technical and people leadership within our Automation and Agentic AI team. This is a senior manager-equivalent role, accountable for leading teams, shaping technology direction, and delivering high impact outcomes at scale.

As a Principal Engineer, you’ll take end to end ownership for your teams — their people, culture, ways of working, and the technology they build and run. You’ll partner closely with Product Owners to ensure clear vision, strong delivery, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven
  • people management experience
  • in a senior engineering role (leading teams of 6+)
  • Experience in delivering
  • automation at scale
  • ideally using tools such as RPA, Intelligent Automation and Agents
  • Experience in
  • Agentic AI systems
  • with knowledge of Agentic frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, MCP and A2A
  • Hands-on cloud engineering expertise
  • , with experience building secure, resilient and scalable platforms in production (GCP preferred)
  • Strong all‑round engineering expertise spanning
  • DevOps and CI/CD, containerised solutions (Kubernetes), Quality Engineering, Agile delivery, and architecture/design
