The job in brief:  Job Title - Senior Frontend Developer Working model - hybrid from Chiasso Team - you will join the Payments and Fintech Engineering team Level - Professional  Location - Chiasso, Switzerland  Contract - Permanent - full-time (36 h/week)   What your impact will be: Coding new features, fixing bugs and optimising code Working with the Team to break down User Stories into tasks that can be worked on Analysing performance metrics and logs using monitoring tools Updating technical documentation Collaborating with designers, testers, product owners and other developers Conducting and participating in code reviews Evolving and maintaining our websites Performance optimisations Technical reviews

Your expertise: Deep understanding of React.js , including its core principles, such as Hooks and state management. Proficiency in: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3. Experience with: TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js and the NPM ecosystem, Testing frameworks, especially Jest. Git, git-flow and version control best practices. Communicative English   Desirable:  Knowledge of Ai coding assistants like Claude Code Practical knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices. Knowledge of CSS-in-JS libraries or frameworks. Understanding of Next.js server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes. Familiarity with testing tools like React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress. Browser, Server and CDN Caching Techniques.
