This is a unique opportunity to shape the legal direction of a publicly listed technology company operating in a rapidly evolving regulatory and AI-driven environment.<br><br><strong>Your Role</strong><br><br>As General Counsel, you will be responsible for the overall legal framework of Siili Solutions Plc and its group companies. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive team, and Board, ensuring that Siili executes its strategy responsibly, in control, and in compliance — while remaining agile and competitive. <br><br><strong>Strategy & Corporate Governance </strong>You'll act as Secretary to the Board and advise on strategic decisions — M&A processes, listed company regulatory obligations, ESG reporting, and legal oversight of group companies. You'll have the full picture of where Siili is headed and what it means legally.<br><br><strong>Business Legal Support</strong> Working on commercial contracts, data and AI-related legal questions, IP rights, and data protection here means genuine collaboration with business leadership — not waiting for questions to come to you. The regulations around AI & data are new and the regulation is evolving, and you’ll have real opportunity to shape Siili’s positions on questions that actually matter.<br><br><strong>Compliance & Risk Management</strong> You'll build group-wide compliance structures that enable growth rather than slow it down. Responsible and ethical business practices are genuine priorities at Siili — not just boxes to tick in a report.<br><br><br><strong>What We Expect from You</strong></p><ul><li><p>A relevant Master of Laws degree</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 8 years of experience in demanding corporate legal roles (e.g., technology company, listed company, or law firm)</p></li><li><p>Strong expertise in commercial contract law and legal matters related to technology, software, or data-driven business</p></li><li><p>Experience in a listed company environment and corporate governance</p></li><li><p>Ability to act as a strategic sparring partner to executive leadership and connect legal insight with business objectives</p></li><li><p>Experience in M&A, growth initiatives, or international business</p></li><li><p>Genuine interest in technology, data, and the evolving legal and ethical questions surrounding AI</p></li><li><p>Fluent Finnish and English skills</p></li></ul><p><br>We also value experience from growth companies or technology consulting environments, as well as proven ability to develop legal functions and processes.<br><br><strong>Why Siili?</strong><br><br>This role offers a broad and influential vantage point across strategy, technology, governance, and international growth.
