Responsibilities

• Missile Systems is a profit and loss Business Unit within Business Area Dynamics, responsible for product management, marketing and sales as well as programme management of advanced missile systems for a global customer base. We are now looking for a Contract Manager to join our Commercial Management organisation. Our product portfolio is broad and we continuously invest in new products and capabilities, both as a prime contractor and in partnership with international defence companies.
• Our business cases are often large and complex, involving long-term commitments that cover development, delivery, and support over several decades. As Contract Manager you will be part of a professional team focused on delivering high-value missile system solutions to customers and partners. The role is part of the Commercial Management organisation, whose objective is to support sustainable growth by providing commercial expertise across the business.
• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure best-in-class contract management during contract execution. You will play an integral role in contract management teams and act as a commercial advisor to the contract responsible. This includes follow-up and updates of contracts in accordance with governance processes and standards. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of business proposals that meet customer and partner requirements while contributing to profitable business for Saab.
