About this role

As a HR advisor you will act as the primary HR contact and trusted advisor in our distribution center, partnering closely with site leadership and employees to drive people-centric initiatives, ensure compliance, and create a positive work environment by fostering a safe, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace culture.

What You Will Be Doing:

Primary point of contact for all operational HR matters at the site.

Coaching and advising (senior) leadership on all HR-related topics throughout the entire employee life cycle.

Role modelling the Company’s DNA and ensuring that these are followed by the team

Dealing with day to day queries from Colleagues – liaising with support functions as required

Handling employee relations, resolving conflicts, and carrying out disciplinary measures in accordance with company policies and local labor laws.

Supporting recruitment processes in close collaboration with the central Talent Acquisition team.

Undertaking basic problem solving activities and escalating to the Senior People Business Partner where necessary

Monitoring and managing key HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, engagement, and headcount.

Local implementation of HR processes such as annual performance reviews, training initiatives, and succession planning.

Developing and implementing site-specific HR policies and processes in alignment with overarching company standards.

Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required

Championing key Company strategies; initiatives – eg: Employee Surveys; Diverse & Inclusive working; Colleague Wellbeing

Managing HR projects in close collaboration with central and international HR teams.

Close cooperation with the People Admin team to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee data in the HRIS system.

Who You Are:

Possess a CIPD Level 5 Qualification.

Demonstrable experience in operational HR work, ideally in a production or logistics environment.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Conflict resolution.

Stakeholder Management.

Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.

Experience in HRIS.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.

Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills.

Analytical thinking and solution-oriented action in a dynamic environment.
