The role

As a Lead Technical Project Manager Intralogistics (all genders) you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and monitoring of strategic development projects with conveying and storage technology in fulfillment. You’ll be an integral part to build the future fulfillment network for HelloFresh and to achieve the ambitious growth targets of our business.

Responsibilities

  • As a Lead Technical Project Manager Intralogistics (all genders) you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and monitoring of strategic development projects with conveying and storage technology in fulfillment. You’ll be an integral part to build the future fulfillment network for HelloFresh and to achieve the ambitious growth targets of our business.

  • What you’ll do
  • You manage the planning, design, and implementation of complex intralogistics automation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with performance targets.
  • Moreover, you dive deep into hardware engineering and conveyor system installations to create highly efficient automation solutions for shop-floor operations.
  • In addition, you explore innovative technologies such as robotics, AI applications, and AMRs, translating ideas into solid business cases and strategic recommendations for senior management.
  • Acting as the central interface of the Automation workstream, you collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Construction and Operations, as well as external conveyor system suppliers.
  • By applying project management best practices, tools, and methodologies, you ensure high standards in documentation, communication, and proactive risk management.
  • What you’ll bring
  • University degree in technical logistics, economics, engineering or a comparable educational background
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in sectors such as manufacturing and production planning, (intra)logistics, automation engineering, logistics planning, construction, industry, project management or consulting, managing large international projects with a logistics focus.
  • Proven efficient working methods (e.g. through PRINCE2 certification or similar), combined with a highly analytical and solution-oriented mindset to set up complex Greenfield and retrofit projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required, any other additional language skills would be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and Overseas (around 20-30% of your working time, depending on the project phase).
