We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Regional Specialist IT Interfaces to join our team in Otrokovice, Czechia. Member of an international team located across various regions (AMERICA, EMEA, APAC) Implementation/integration of machines for big data collection and analysis Participation in both small and large projects focused on the digitalization of machinery and their processes (IIoT and Cloud – edge computing technologies, Kubernetes Cluster (K8s)) Specification and documentation of the required hardware to equip machines so they provide accurate data for manufacturing information systems Support in spreading essential know-how across production plants Consultant in the area of IT interfaces for Continental plants worldwide Project management in the field of IT interfaces Collaboration with all involved technical departments Travel according to planned projects
University degree in a technical field Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing plant Project management skills Knowledge of Step7, TwinCAT, and IPC management Proficiency in programming languages (C++, C#, and Python) Logical and analytical thinking, flexibility, proactive approach, independence Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time) English language proficiency at least at B1 level (the position requires daily communication in English, both spoken and written)
