About this role
To provide a reliable and efficient transportation services with safety as a top priority, for staff of variety of samples, goods, to office, Laboratory, Port, (Minerals & AGRIcommodities) site operations and other company-related needs, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Education Grade 12 or equivalent in professional work experience, Experience 3 Years of experience of driving experience. Valid Professional driving license appropriate for the vehicle (CE) Public services endorsed on the driving license (G) Ability to communicate effectively in english (verbal and written). Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations. Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage Competencies . Ability to work independently and under pressure. Extended hours and shift work are required. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent driving skills and safety awareness. Punctual and reliable.
Responsabilities Safely transport staff, visitors, and goods to designated locations. Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle. Conduct routine checks on vehicle condition and report any issues promptly. Ensure all necessary documentation (vehicle checklist, logbooks, fuel records, maintenance reports) is accurately completed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Perform deliveries as and when required; Prepare weekly vehicle checklist reports; Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Carry any other duties as instructed by management that may be deemed appropriate and within our capabilities.
