🧑🏻‍💻 About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Own the end-to-end technical SEO and AEO strategy and roadmap to improve crawl and indexation quality, Core Web Vitals, and structured data coverage

Lead deep technical audits and resolve rendering, canonical and hreflang, redirects, robots and meta directives, XML sitemaps, and information architecture issues at scale

Design and maintain schema and entity and knowledge-graph models, implementing FAQ, How To, and Q&A patterns as well as internal linking strategies that support AEO

Own the organic content program together with Content and Editorial teams by defining entity and topic clusters, creating technical content briefs and reusable templates, running rolling content audits for thin, duplicate, or outdated content, and driving remediation through redirects, consolidation, and schema fixes

Own the SEO content roadmap by prioritizing net-new content, refreshes, and deprecations based on opportunity size and forecasted impact, while setting clear acceptance criteria and publication SLAs

Build monitoring and alerting for crawl health, indexation deltas, Core Web Vitals, and structured data, and lead incident triage and root-cause analysis using releases, logs, and SERP and answer-surface signals

Develop and maintain SEO and AEO forecasts using both top-down and bottom-up approaches, define targets, publish dashboards and reporting cadences, and run variance analysis to continuously refine prioritization

Mentor peers, coordinate agencies, and scale best practices across multiple sites and geographies

🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

8 or more years of experience owning technical SEO at scale across multiple geographies, with hands-on AEO experience

Deep expertise in crawl and indexation, log analysis, rendering strategies such as SSR, CSR, and ISR, information architecture, canonicals and hreflang, robots and sitemaps, with a proven track record of improving Core Web Vitals

Advanced experience with schema.org and JSON-LD, entity modeling, internal linking, and implementing FAQ, How To, and Q&A patterns at scale

Strong forecasting and reporting skills, including building top-down and bottom-up models, defining KPIs, and creating dashboards

Confidence working with tools and data such as Google Search Console, analytics and BI tools, enterprise crawlers, log parsers, and tag managers, with SQL, Python, or advanced spreadsheet skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently

A strong doer and problem-solver mindset
