Your team & impact

Join us on our journey as Senior PHP Engineer our Payments team. The Payments team owns integrations with banks and payment service providers (PSPs). They also build and maintain critical internal systems such as treasury, reconciliation, and financial reporting tools.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Senior PHP Engineer:

Own and evolve core payment system

Drive technical architecture and design decisions

Collaborate closely with stakeholders and external partners

Lead complex projects end to end, from technical discovery and design through implementation, rollout, and ongoing optimization

Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver solutions

Help the team to get better by providing feedback on pull requests, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and suggestions how to improve team processes

Ability to solve large and complex problems

Ability to deliver solutions from requirements gathering to monitoring performance in production

Ability to cover the code changes with meaningful and thorough automated tests

Experience integrating 3rd party providers

Experience with monitoring the application performance

And if you can also do this stuff, even better:

Temporal - big advantage if you have some experience

React - we use it only for internal tools

Laravel - legacy monolith service that we are taking apart is built on it
