Supporting backend services for Cisco’s SaaS collaboration products, you will play an important role in delivering
reliable, scalable, and resilient
experiences across calling, messaging, meetings, and contact
center
solutions.
Your work will directly
impact
the availability, performance, and quality of services used by millions of users globally.
Deploy,
operate
, and support collaboration services across cloud and hybrid environments following established practices.
Build and
maintain
CI/CD pipelines and operational automation,
leveraging
existing frameworks and AI‑assisted tools.
Monitor production systems,
participate
in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis.
Analyze
metrics, logs, and traces to support operational decisions, capacity planning, and system stability.
Create and
maintain
runbooks and operational documentation, promoting reliability and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with
2+ years
of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, Systems Engineering, or a related role.
Experience deploying,
operating
, or supporting services using
containers (Docker)
and basic
Kubernetes
concepts in cloud or hybrid environments.
Working knowledge of
at least one programming or scripting language
(e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation and operational tasks.
Familiarity with
monitoring, observability, and incident response
practices, including troubleshooting production issues.
Foundational understanding of
Linux systems, networking concepts, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and Git-based workflows
