As a Development Engineer within Ride & Handling, you will be part of a team shaping the driving character of our vehicles. You will work closely with experienced engineers and the Attribute Leader, supporting the development and refinement of chassis performance.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will learn how to translate technical solutions into a balanced driving experience, contributing to how the vehicle feels in terms of comfort, control, and stability across different conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in vehicle testing and contribute to subjective evaluations of steering feel, ride comfort, and vehicle stability
  • Support tuning and calibration activities for chassis components such as dampers, bushings, suspension systems, and steering
  • Assist in analysing vehicle behavior and identifying improvement areas based on test feedback and data
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support system integration between tires, suspension, and braking systems
  • Contribute to validation activities through simulation and physical testing in proving grounds
  • Support documentation, reporting, and follow-up of ride and handling performance throughout the development process
  • Identify potential issues and raise them within the team to support smooth project progress
