Job description

We are looking for an experienced chef specializing in Asian cuisine (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) to join our small buffet kitchen.

Job Description:

Prepare Asian dishes for breakfast and lunch buffet (Chinese, Korean, Japanese style)

Manage and maintain kitchen cleanliness during your shift

Organize and plan your work to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Ensure food quality and consistency

Handle food safely and follow strict hygiene standards at all times

Working Hours: 08:00 15:00

Start Date: 04/05/2026

Requirements

  • Must be currently living in Finland
  • Must have a valid residence permit (right to work in Finland)
  • Valid hygiene passport (food safety certificate) is required
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Experience cooking Asian food (At least 2 out of the following 4 cuisines: Vietnam, Japan, China, Korea)
  • Knowing how to calculate is a big advantage when considering menu setup
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Responsible, clean, and efficient
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Selection Process:
  • Selected candidates will be invited for a skill demonstration (trial shift)
  • Applicants should be able to participate in a demonstration of their cooking skills
  • Working Environment:
  • Creative kitchen environment
  • You are welcome to introduce your own dishes or ideas if they fit our concept
  • We strongly encourage creativity, but it should align with the restaurants direction
