As a Field Engineering Manager for the Nordics territory, you will lead a diverse team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects and Engineers across the region. You’ll play a key leadership role at the intersection of technology and business—guiding your team to design impactful solutions and drive growth through collaboration and innovation.

You’ll empower your team to communicate complex ideas with clarity, support strategic enterprise customer engagements, and build lasting partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.

The impact you will have:

Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team across the Nordics for the Emerging Enterprises territory.

Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven, value-focused solutions.

Establish best practices that improve team efficiency, collaboration, and business impact.

Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, acting as a strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey.

Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Represent Databricks on the regional leadership team, contributing to our local presence and inclusive culture.

Proven experience leading or managing technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS environments—or equivalent experience gained through hands-on engineering or consulting work.

A track record of coaching and developing diverse, high-performing teams.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional leaders.

Knowledgeable in how Emerging Enterprises, Startups and Digital Native businesses operate will be advantageous for the position.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional proficiency in English (knowledge of any Nordic language is a plus, but not a hard requirement).

Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science (consulting or customer-facing experience preferred). Foundational proficiency and strong enthusiasm in data, AI, and cloud technologies, plus experience in connecting these to real business outcomes.

This role is based in Stockholm, within a reasonable commuting distance, and follows a hybrid working model.
