AR Accountant

Finance Competence Center (FCC) is a centralized financial unit providing accounting services for 26 legal units in 13 countries in Europe and North America.

We are now searching for AR Accountant to join our AR team in Finance Competence Center. In this role, you will work closely together with other teams in finance and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. We assume you already have experience on working in a challenging, international business environment and you have an ability and motivation to drive continuous improvement. You have an ability to work as a part of team, while also capable of independent work.

Your key responsibilities are:

Manage and provide clean domestic, foreign and subsidiary customer accounts and accounting

Verify, record and post received customer payments in timely manner including netting entries

Settle unidentified and on account payment allocations

Process and settle direct debit customer payments

Reconcile and settle payment discrepancies

Prepare customer refunds for cash management to pay out

Process manual invoicing where applicable

Interest invoicing where applicable

Support and help credit controlling and credit management

Provide supporting weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly closing actions, reconciliations and reporting - including solving and documenting errors, differences and deviations

Provide and maintain written work instructions for daily operational work and tasks

Work actively to develop and harmonize global ways of working and quality of operations in close co-operation with your own team and other finance related teams
