Join our corporate M&A team as a Senior Manager and play a key role in shaping and executing our growth strategy. You will lead acquisition projects end-to-end, from sourcing opportunities to negotiating and integrating deals. You work at the heart of strategic decision-making, partnering with senior leaders across the business. This is a high-impact role where your insights directly influence long-term direction. As a Senior Manager, you

Contribute to the continuous development of Valmet’s M&A strategy

Lead M&A projects across the full deal lifecycle

Build valuation models, prepare business cases, and structure transactions

Partner with business areas and senior leaders to shape strategic decisions

Manage negotiations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Expectations for you

5–10 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or private equity

Masters’ degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in other languages being an asset

You have experience of leading multiple M&A projects in a global setting. You combine strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations and actions. You work in a structured and results-driven way, while building strong relationships across the organization. You take ownership of complex projects and move them forward with confidence and clarity.
