Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable energy future? We are now looking for a Mechanical Plant Design Engineer to join an exciting HVDC project in a highly skilled and international team.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing mechanical solutions for HVDC power plants. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality layouts and designs for various areas within the station, working in the NX CAD environment with Teamcenter as a supporting system.

In this role, you will create 3D models and 2D drawings for components and plant layouts, as well as develop station layouts and provide input to civil design. Your work will include designing steel structures, connectors, insulators, and related components, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and design guidelines. You will also provide technical support during installation and commissioning, prepare technical documentation and bills of materials, and collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support customer satisfaction, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all aspects of your work.

Desired qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

A couple of years experience in a related field

Experience working in NX and Teamcenter
