The Position

Based in Basel within Group People & Culture, the Roche Global Citizenship team helps bring our purpose to life by empowering healthier, more resilient communities where we live, work and beyond. As the Impact Reporting Manager, your responsibilities may include operating as a highly capable, detail-oriented self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills. The role requires confidence in working independently on complex reporting topics, while collaborating closely within a matrixed leadership model to support portfolio-level decision-making and continuous improvement.

Your opportunity

Managing and standardizing sponsorship and philanthropic request processes to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance

Implementing RGC’s impact measurement framework at project and program level across the portfolio

Collecting, validating, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data on outputs, outcomes, and impact

Supporting monitoring and evaluation activities in partnership with program managers and external partners

Translating impact data into clear insights, narratives, and evidence for internal and external reporting

Collaborating closely with the Lead, Strategic Initiatives & Operations to ensure alignment with governance, operational excellence, and reporting priorities

Key Deliverables

Impact Measurement & Reporting

Implement and maintain a fit-for-purpose global impact measurement framework aligned with leading CSR, ESG, and philanthropy reporting standards

Collect and consolidate impact data across programs, ensuring quality, consistency, and comparability

Produce clear, credible impact reporting to support enterprise reporting, senior leadership updates, and external disclosures

Contribute data and insights to sustainability, social impact, and non-financial reporting processes

Operational Excellence & Governance

Support philanthropic policy governance through standardized processes, documentation, and reporting requirements

Enable data-driven decision-making by providing timely insights on portfolio performance, outcomes, and risks

Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and program teams to ensure robust controls and alignment with governance expectations

Continuously improve tools, templates, and processes to support scalable and efficient impact reporting

Internal Advocacy & Capability Building

Act as a subject-matter resource on impact measurement, evaluation, and reporting within RGC

Build impact literacy across the team by supporting colleagues with guidance, tools, and best practices

Translate technical data and frameworks into accessible insights for non-technical audiences
