Job Description: We are recruiting a Senior Analytical Development (AD) Chemist to join our MS&T Analytical Development team in Blanchardstown, Dublin. This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract role, ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in method development, validation, and analytical troubleshooting. Ipsen in Ireland is represented by a dynamic state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for our core product portfolio. The Senior AD Chemist will support MS&T by optimizing processes, investigating unplanned events, validating analytical methods, and partnering with Quality and Manufacturing. Main responsibilities include : Provide analytical support to projects – Develop analytical methods for raw material, intermediate, in-process or API methods.  The projects may focus on current commercial processes or new chemical entities under transfer to commercial organization. Ensure all analytical work is documented as appropriate (Laboratory Notebook, Memo, Report). Contribute to the identification of unknowns – for example, use of LCMS applicable methods and use of LC. Competency in most of the following analytical techniques:  HPLC (Reverse Phase, Chiral, etc.) with UV, PDA and MS detection, GC with FID and MS detection, TLC, Particle Size, ICP, IR, UV, Titrimetry, Colorimetry. Communicate the results of the analytical work effectively within MS&T and other functional areas, as applicable. To be considered for this role, you need a B.Sc. in Science (Analytical focus) and expertise in Analytical Validation requirements. Relevant experience working in a GLP environment is essential.
