We are looking for a Product Owner for a key role in developing customer data management. The role combines strong business understanding, modern product thinking, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A central focus of the role is development work around a significant customer data domain, where high - quality data and well - designed master data solutions play a critical role.
The position is located in either Helsinki or Oulu. Like the rest of OP Pohjola, we combine on-site and remote work flexibly in our daily work.
What is the role about?
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for steering and prioritizing the team's work as part of the wider tribe. You create and clarify the team's vision based on the tribe's objectives and guide day - to - day work accordingly. At the core of your role is a deep understanding of customer needs: you break down needs into concrete actions, prioritize the backlog, and actively seek the best solutions to maximize business and customer value.
You will work closely with development taking place around a core customer domain, including initiatives related to master data, data consistency, and data - driven services. You also play an active role in planning and executing the move from legacy system to new MDM environment. The role includes responsibility for backlog items that may span MDM - related development and implementation activities , as well as close collaboration with stakeholders who rely on customer and engagement data across the organization.
You are responsible for the team's backlog, taking development, production, and compliance perspectives into account, and you play a key role in coordination across teams and at tribe level. The more detailed role setup and division of responsibilities will be defined together with the other Product Owner in the area and the Tribe Lead.
