This role is positioned in an international working environment, with close collaboration across teams and stakeholders in Stafford, UK; USA; India; Germany; and Finland.

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer

The Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer is focusing on valve technology in our global FACTS (NPI) team.

GE Vernova Grid Solutions Oy delivers mainly high power (>100MVAr) Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static Var Compensators (SVC), Fixed Series Capacitors (FSC) and Synchronous Condensers (SC). These are used to control power system voltage and reactive power flow as well as to improve the power system stability and transmission system efficiency. FACTS devices are also typically used to enable the integration of renewables to the power system making the future power system more sustainable. Energy transformation towards generation of electricity from renewables have significantly increased the markets for FACTS devices and R&D needs for the power system stab
