The

Global Mobility Manager

is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of global mobility services

within and into EMEA

, ensuring that international assignments and permanent international relocations are executed in a compliant, cost-effective and employee-centric way.

Regional scope and alignment may be expanded depending on volumes and business needs.

Acting as a

trusted advisor

to HR Business Leads, People Services and line managers, this role provides expert guidance on mobility strategy, policy application and risk. Based in the

Poznań hub

, the Global Mobility Manager also plays a key role in driving

operational excellence, data quality and continuous improvement

across the Global Mobility value stream.

Responsibilities

  • Global Mobility Advisory & Case Ownership
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of international assignments (IA), permanent international relocations (PIR), business travellers (BT) and other complex cross‑border moves, from initiation through to closure.
  • Lead structured mobility strategy discussions, advising on move type, policy application and recommended support packages aligned to business need, risk and cost.
  • Act as the central point of contact for employees, line managers, HR Business Leads and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and a high‑quality experience.
  • Policy Application, Governance & Exceptions
  • Interpret and apply global mobility policies consistently, ensuring alignment with GSK standards.
  • Assess and manage policy exception requests, preparing costed options and recommendations, securing approvals and ensuring robust documentation.
  • Contribute to policy reviews by sharing operational insights, trends and external benchmarking input.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Oversee immigration and social security compliance in partnership with external providers and internal Tax, Payroll and Legal teams.
  • Identify and escalate mobility‑related risks (e.g. permanent establishment, uncompliant remote work, frequent business travellers) and support mitigation actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, data‑privacy requirements, SOPs and work instructions.
  • Cost Management & Payroll Coordination
  • Coordinate the preparation and validation of cost estimates for assignments and relocations.
  • Ensure approved packages are communicated to Finance and reflected accurately in planning, accruals and reporting.
  • Support correct setup and maintenance of mobility‑related pay elements with Payroll, Tax and HR systems teams.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate relocation, tax and immigration providers, monitoring service quality and adherence to SLAs.
  • Build strong partnerships across HR, People Services, Finance, Tech and regional stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of mobility solutions.
  • Operations, Data & Systems
  • Ensure accurate case management and documentation across HR and mobility systems (e.g. ServiceNow HR, Workday, mobility platforms).
  • Drive high standards of data accuracy, reporting and portfolio oversight.
  • Continuous Improvement & Capability Building
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and digitise mobility processes.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert, sharing knowledge and coaching stakeholders on mobility processes, systems and policies.
  • Knowledge, Education & Experience
  • Education
  • University degree or equivalent experience (HR, business, law, finance or related field preferred).
  • Global Mobility or related professional certification is an advantage.

Requirements

  • Several years’ experience in Global Mobility or international HR operations within a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Proven advisory experience with HR and business leaders on mobility strategy, compliance and risk.
  • Experience working with external relocation, tax and immigration providers.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and case‑management tools such as Workday, ServiceNow HR and mobility platforms.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of global mobility concepts, tax and immigration fundamentals.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; another European language is an advantage.
  • Customer‑focused, pragmatic and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong alignment with GSK values, integrity standards and inclusion principles.
