At Channable, we're building the future of e-commerce automation - and at the core of that vision is a world-class engineering organization. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Marketplaces Group, where you'll play a key role in integrating e-commerce channels.

🚀 Your challenges:

As an Engineering Manager in the Marketplaces domain, you will lead an engineering department consisting of 4 team leads (your direct reports) who manage ~17 individual contributors. You'll report to our VP of Engineering, Jorryt Dijkstra.

You’ll be responsible for delivering maximum impact in the Marketplaces domain. You will partner up with an experienced Product Lead, with whom you will define and carry out a department vision, strategy, and roadmap. Engaged team leads and individual contributors are top of mind for you.

🛠 What you’ll do:

Drive the Marketplaces roadmap by balancing the overall Channable strategy and the Marketplaces' specific opportunities

Quantify success by defining and measuring success metrics for the domain as well as team performance

Mentor and coach team leads to let them grow and excel at their jobs

Drive for high engineering standards by implementing good software development practices and challenging the team to come up with good designs

Improve and optimize processes that hamper productivity and can be more lean

Build a high-performance culture through fostering accountability, being on top of performance management, and focusing on employee engagement

You work based on data when you can, and you ensure future decisions take data into account
