GSK is seeking a highly qualified

Financial Controller

to join our

Finance Team

within the Close & Control Hub in Poznan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of reporting across GSK while gaining exposure to a dynamic, global biopharma environment, including leading a team and working closely with the business and other senior finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main C&C Europe finance contact for
  • Business Development Deals
  • , ensuring timely, compliant reporting, validating accounting for acquisitions/divestments and leading the C&C process end to end.
  • Lead the
  • review and optimisation
  • of the Target Operating Model (TOM), including Supply Chain entities and drive standardization across Close & Control (C&C) Europe.
  • Collaborate with GRCOE and C&C colleagues to identify
  • reporting automation
  • opportunities, design solutions and drive implementation.
  • Drive
  • continuous improvement
  • of financial reporting and control processes by adopting digital tools and advanced analytics (AI, Power BI, etc.) to increase efficiency, accuracy and insight.
  • Collaborate closely with Control Champions and FRMC to
  • review,
  • strengthen and optimise
  • control design and effectiveness and to ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Deep understanding of current C&C workflows and tools, with the ability to temporarily assume operational responsibilities to support markets in urgent situations.
  • Ensure the timely and effective performance of
  • internal controls
  • and support both internal and external audits.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in
  • Finance/Accounting
  • or equivalent professional experience.
  • Desire and willingness
  • to learn about new technologies, including AI and automation and to apply them to improve reporting and controls.
  • 5 years’ experience
  • in accounting, audit, or financial controlling.
  • In-depth knowledge of
  • accounting principles.
  • Professional fluency in
  • English
  • (written and spoken).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
