Job Summary
Digital Solutions Development within PS&E Automation & Solution is responsible for developing new Factory OS™, that is our next-generation digital ecosystem, built on open, modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise.
You will be based in Modena, Italy or Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
Responsibilities
- Test Specialist role while is primarily focused on functional testing, is also expected to actively contribute to test automation initiatives. These activities must be carried out with a strong emphasis on understanding business flows, application logic, and data consistency across systems. The ideal candidate is not a passive executor, but an active contributor who can reason about features end‑to‑end and engage constructively with the wider product and engineering organisation.
- As our new Test Specialist, you will:
- Perform manual functional testing on complex Web applications composed of multiple micro frontends.
- Analyze and fully understand end‑to‑end functional flows, identifying dependencies, edge cases, and data requirements.
- Locate, validate, and verify data across different layers of the platform during test execution.
- Contribute to test automation strategy and actively develop test automation suite.
- Review and refine functional test flows.
- Translate high‑level functional flows and business requirements into structured test scenarios, test procedures, and test cases
